On July 29, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope announced that the state government had decided to ease restrictions related to COVID-19 in 25 districts.
Relaxations will be granted where the COVID-19 positivity rate is low and will allow the operation of stores, theaters, cinemas, and gyms.
However, there would be restrictions on matrimonial functions, etc. “We don’t recommend using an air-conditioned room,” Tope said.
