In a new incident, a teenager in Punjab has spent over Rs 16 Lakh INR from his father’s and mother’s bank account which he spent for in-app purchases for popular game application, PUBG.

The 17-year-old teenager used the money to spend on cosmetic items and upgrades, also use the amount to attend events in the game, purchase weapons.

The boy who used to use his dad’s mobile to play games used to ask his dad that he needs a mobile to study. But he used to play games and made several transactions.  Saying about this, the dad said, “I had saved the money for my medical needs and my son’s future.

During the lockdown, I was staying at the place of my posting, while my son was staying with my wife here. He used her mobile phone to make all transactions and would delete the message regarding the amount debited from the account.”

Now the dad said, “I just can’t let him sit idle at home and cannot give him a mobile phone even for studying. He is working at a scooter repair shop so that he realizes how hard it is to earn money.” This will teach the son how hard it is to earn money.
