Renowned Bollywood Choreographer Saroj Khan died early hours of Friday morning due to cardiac arrest. She died at the age of 71.
Known to have collaborated with many Bollywood stars and judging many talents in the reality shows, Saroj Khan was a 3 time National Award winner.
Recently, she had breathing issues and was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra. A mandatory COVID-19 test result came in negative.
“She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2.30 a.m. at the hospital,” nephew of Saroj Khan, Manish Jagwani told the reporters.
One of the most prominent people in Bollywood Industry, Saroj Khan started her journey as assistant choreographer, she shot to fame where she choreographed the famous song Hawa Hawaii from Mr. India movie. Until date, she has choreographed over 2000 songs from various movies. Tabaah Hogaye in the 2019 film Kalank was the last song which Saroj Khan.
