After a long wait, WhatsApp a popular social media app rolled out the Dark Version for its web version.
With over 2 Billion users worldwide WhatsApp a Facebook-owned company is one of the most widely used social media platforms. It allows users to send and receive texts, photos, videos, documents, share live locations, and also connect using video/phone calls has been a hit among many users. The web version of the application has the same but calls, live locations cannot be sent here.
The web version does not include users to install a separate application but they can access with a simple scanning of QR Code. The Instant messaging app has been rolling out different updates for its users and their latest offering is where the users can change the theme to Dark. Apart from new features such as animated stickers to scanning QR codes to add a contact to improvement in group video calls, Dark Theme is their latest offering. The Dark mode feature was already available for Android or iOs users and this feature has now been expanded to the web also.
If you want to use Web WhatsApp in Dark Mode. You can follow these steps
- Log in to Web WhatsApp
- Go to settings located as 3 dots in the header.
- Go to Theme Settings
- Choose the Theme to Dark and click ‘OK’.
