1. Mount Rushmore

Perhaps one of the most popular landmarks in the USA is Mount Rushmore. It is a national memorial located in South Dakota and it is visible from a distance. The rock-cut construction took place in the early 20th century and you can witness the four Presidents of America being carved from the side.
The presidents whose faces are carved here include Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. There is a Presidential Trail located near the bottom of Mount Rushmore which provides better views of the carvings.
2. Grand Canyon

One of the places which have an incredible natural site attraction is The Grand Canyon. Situated in Arizona, Grand Canyon is said to have been carved out by the Colorado River where it cuts deep into the landscape and has led to the formation of cliffs and ledges.
The south rim of the Grand Canyon is visited by most tourists as it has some amazing views. Visitors here can view the floor of the Canyon and cliffs at a very far distance. The north rim of the canyon offers different views and you have access to visit both rims where there is a regular tourist bus that plys visitors to both locations.
3. Niagara Falls

One place that is on everybody’s list to notice/witness or visit is Niagara Falls. Forming a natural border between the USA and Canada, it is one of the world’s most famous waterfalls.
The water from Lake Erie flows into Lake Ontario which is one of the most beautiful and dangerous falls. The best visited time is after sunset due to the fact of its lighting, Niagara falls is a set of 3 waterfalls.
The largest section of the falls is Horseshoe Falls and American Falls near the American region and a small falls near American Falls called Bridal Veil Falls. On a clear day CN Tower in Toronto, Canada can be visible from the American side of Niagara Falls.
4. Statue of Liberty

One of the most famous landmarks of New York City and the world is the Statue of Liberty located near New York City, downtown Manhattan is one of the largest statues in the USA. It is standing at 152ft located in New York Harbor, this statue is visible from many places in New York City.
Anyone can visit the Island where the Statue was erected, many ferries plying from the mainland to this Island and there are specialized tours that are organized here.
5. Yellowstone National Park

One of the oldest National Parks in The USA is Yellowstone National Park. This park is spread across Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho and is home to an ancient supervolcano. Due to this, the location has dramatic landscapes, and many geysers and hot springs are located here.
The national park has beautiful waterfalls from the Yellowstone River. Yellowstone National Park has various animals including bison, Bighorn, Sheep, Antelope, etc.
6. White House

The White House is a symbol of power in the United States, Washington DC is the official residence and office of the President of the United States. Constructed between 1792 – 1800, the first president to reside here was President John Adams.
The White House was rebuilt in 1818 after the British Forces destroyed it in 1814. You can take free tours to the White House, however, you need special permission from a member of congress or the ambassador of the country. Also, you need to apply for a pass well in advance.
7. Golden Gate Bridge

One of the famous bridges is the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge connects San Francisco to Marin County and has been an iconic structure since its construction in the 1930s.
The bridge is approximately 3 km long and has been constructed with steel railings and cables. The bridge has a unique orangish-red color due to the fact that it should be visible from the fog that engulfs the region.
8. Las Vegas Strip

Who hasn’t heard of Las Vegas, the party capital of the world? The Las Vegas strip is on every tourist’s mind. The place is known as the mecca of the gambling world the strip is located in the midst of the Nevada desert.
Many casinos line the strip and a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard has a major concentration of Casinos. Times Square in New York is a place that is bustling 24/7 days. Famous for its flashing billboards, NYE countdown, and the place which has a major concentration of businesses, restaurants, and shops this place is a melting pot of culture.
A visit to Times Square at night gets you the most amazing views of flickering lights and billboards that dot the city’s skyscrapers and it is worth a visit to witness the city that never sleeps.
10. Yosemite National Park

Located in the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite National Park is one of the vast stretches of greenery that dots the Californian Region. It constitutes up to 20% of Greenery in California and is one of the most tourist places in the USA.
There are various points of attraction and you can enjoy many hike regions, also you can explore breathtaking granite rock formations, gushing waterfalls, lush meadows, and impressive glaciers.
