Why The Capilano Suspension Bridge is famous?

The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a simple suspension bridge that is constructed over Capilano River which is located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The bridge is 140m in length and is located 70m above the river and is one of the most touristic places in North Vancouver.

The bridge was originally constructed in the year 1889 and had undergone many changes, later it was purchased by Mac Eachran and most recently to Nancy Stibbard who is the current owner of Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was sold to Nancy Stibbard in the year 1983 and she undertook many changes and she spearheaded the attraction and development of this suspension bridge.

The bridge is famous that it has been featured in many TV series such as MacGyver, Sliders, The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, and Psych. To this day, many tourists make it a point to visit this bridge on their tour to Vancouver.

It is a well-maintained bridge however if a person is afraid of heights kindly refrain visiting this bridge. The entry to bridge is charged where it is charged around 54.95$ for adults, 50.95$ for Seniors, 31.95$ for youths, 18.95$ for children and Children under 6 years can enter for free.
